Privacy Policy

What this page covers

This policy explains what happens when you use GrabThumb, a free web tool for downloading YouTube thumbnail images.

Information we collect

GrabThumb does not require an account, and the YouTube link you paste is processed entirely in your own browser — it is not sent to or stored on any GrabThumb server. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (such as page-view counts) to understand which pages are useful; this does not include the video links you look up.

Third-party requests

When you fetch a thumbnail, your browser makes a direct request to YouTube's own image servers (img.youtube.com) and, for video title lookups, YouTube's public oEmbed endpoint. Those requests are governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one, since GrabThumb has no visibility into or control over them.

Cookies

GrabThumb itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may set its own minimal technical cookies as part of serving the font files.

Children's privacy

This tool is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
